As education is the primary function of the Veterans Museum of Texas, it offers educational opportunities for people of all ages from Pre-K through college and beyond.
Through different educational stations, the museum honors all veterans in all wars and conflicts. Stations educate students on the different sections of the military and the different role each one plays and teaches students about POWs and MIAs, women in the military, medics in the military, timeline of wars and a timeline of the Texas military.
The museum currently features 12 educational stations, college/university testing, books and tapes, special displays and demonstrations. Veterans may also tell stories to students giving them a first-hand account of what war and battle were actually like.
